Blue Fin’s Bistro: Ahi Tuna

What I ate: King Neptune Dinner.

How to order it: This menu item comes with coconut shrimp. While some Asian-style coconut shrimp may be battered in rice flour, the server checked for me and we learned that Blue Fin’s batter for this item contains wheat.

But we can have our shrimp and eat them, too! Since the seafood dinners are made-to-order, I opted to have mine grilled.

This meal also comes with a ceasar side salad. Just ask them to leave off the croutons.

What it looks like:

King Neptune Dinner – 6 oz. ahi tuna steak, blackened, with grilled shrimp, on a bed of sauteed spinach. Being a sushi-lover, I ordered the fish “rare” and it was perfect. The meal lost nothing in the presentation for lack of coconut! Isn’t it gorgeous with those dancing prawns aspiring toward heaven? They certainly tasted divine.

Green Note: The seafood is delivered to the restaurant almost daily, so you are getting it fresh and not frozen. They also use cloth napkins.
